The Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades!!

Well Brooklyn has taken quite a liking to her new shades! I didn't think she'd keep them on since she doesn't keep shoes, hair bows, or anything else on, but she surprised me and she wears these puppies EVERYWHERE now!

Corbin's Birthday Party!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDO!!

Well, my little man is turing 5 tomorrow (Friday)! He is soooooo excited to bring his favorite treat, 3-muskateers, to school for his birthday celebration. He doesn't quite understand that he still has to go to preschool for the rest of this school year though. He walked in on Wednesday and told his teacher he had a very important announcement to make which was that Friday would be his last day with them because it's, "Time for me to move on!" He says the most grown up phrases, it just cracks us up when he talks like an adult. I'll post some pics of his party so stay tuned! He had really bad jaundice when he was born. He had to be under the flouresant lights for 3 days. :(

This is probably my favorite picture of him EVER! We went 4-wheeling to the beach at Bear Lake and he wouldn't take the helmet off the whole time!

Corbin's First Birthday!

Hey everyone, I had to share Brooklyn's funny new 'quirk' she's got going on. When she gets her bath (either morning or night, since she gets 2 a day) no matter what I get her dressed in be it clothes for the day or jammies for bed, she will climb the stairs, run to her room and proceed to bring me every nightgown she owns until I give in and put one on her! she will just sit and claw at her clothes and cry until she gets her way. Most of the time if we're home I don't really care too much, but I've actually had to put them over her clothes to ride in the car somewhere just so she won't scream the whole way. A couple weeks ago Trent made the mistake of thinking she looked silly and took the nightgown off and she buried her head in a blanket and cried for 5 minutes until he realized he should put it back on. She has definitely come into her own personality in the last little bit, but she's just so darn cute that we just laugh and roll with it!

Braggin' On Trent!

Okay, so this weekend me, Heather, Nina and Debbie went up to Park City for a girls trip! We had so much fun! We went shopping, to dinner and a movie and stayed up all night talking, but the best part was that when I got home on Sunday Trent had cleaned the whole house and the kids were being great! That is the best thing to come home to when your husband surprises you and does stuff you don't ask him to do. I just had to let y'all know so that when I complain about him next that he does have redeeming qualities!! :)
