Sooooooooooooo Sweet!!

Okay, I have to let everyone know how sweet my little man is! To start, you have to understand that Corbin gets kind the short end of the stick treatment from most people in our family because he's our little 'active' guy. Since he doesn't sit still alot of the time, and he likes to wrestle (when provoked mind you), he gets blamed for alot of stuff that isn't his fault. That will help you understand why I think this is the cutest thing ever! Anyways, on Valentine's Day we got those heart shaped pizzas from Papa Murphy's and we're sitting at the bar eating when all of a sudden Corbin sprints away from the table and say's, "I'll be right back!" So he runs upstairs and comes back down with his little fists full of quarters and dimes and stuff. He hands the change to Trent and tells him, "Daddy, I don't have a car to go get you something for Valentine's Day, so I want you to have all my money." We about died. We had been exchanging our cards and Trent brought me flowers and stuff so Corbin wanted to give something too! We told him that was VERY sweet, but that he should keep his money, but thank you for being so nice. So he still wanted to give his Dad something, so he went to his bag of treats we had given him and pulled out some of the candy he knew Trent liked and ran back up to him, held it out and said, "Happy Valentine's Day Dad!" So Trent took the candy and ended up putting it back with his stuff after he'd gone to bed, but it just goes to show you every kid has their moments when you want to kill them, but they really are the sweetest things in the world! I just thought I'd share that story about our little guy!

Happy Valentine's Day!

"Someone once told me that the definition of love is the soul's recognition of its counterpart in another." - John Beckwith (Wedding Crashers)
Well, I've seen alot of postings for Valentine's Day, so I thought I'd put one up for Trent too! For anyone who knows me at all, you know I am so not the mushy, publicly show your love type, but it couldn't hurt every now and again, so I just wanted to take a second and say how much I love my husband. We have been married almost 9 years now, and though I would be lying if I said I have loved every minute of it, I wouldn't trade the harder times for anything, because they make all the great times even that much sweeter. I know I am where I am today because of him and I love the life we've built and are continuing to build together.
Happy Valentine's Day Honey! XOXO, me.

This is our baby girl Brooklyn! Or as we call her, Brookie BooBoo! She is our 3rd and last child so I am loving every minute of the 'baby' stage! She has been the most awesome baby anyone could ask for. She sleeps through the night, naps in the day and she eats whatever I give her! The only problem is she is starting to walk and the kid is into litterally EVERYTHING!! She is so curious about everything around her and she wants to touch it all! She just turned 1 year old right between Christmas and New Year, so her and daddy will forever share birthday parties! I love all 3 of my kids so much I sometimes just can't believe how lucky I am that I not only get to raise 3 great kids, but that Trent being in WLG has allowed me to stay home full time and raise them which is truly all I have ever wanted! I hope this blog is coming along a bit better now! :)

This is our son Corbin. He is a total ball of energy from the time he wakes up in the morning, until he falls asleep at night! We get such a kick out of him! He's in his 2nd year of preschool, so YEAH!! Kindergarten in the fall!!! :) He's getting pretty bored only going every other day while big sis gets to go all day every day. Corbin is our little athletic one! He loves soccer and averaged 2+ goals per game last fall. He'll play that and start t-ball this spring and he'll start karate next month! Hopefully he learns discipline and not just how to hit better!!

This is our oldest daughter, Libbie Sue! She is definitely ALL GIRL! She is our resident Hannah Montana, High School Musical, and Jonas Brothers expert, and she loves to sing, dance and act along with the shows and music! She started 1st grade this year, and she plays soccer, t-ball and does tumbling and cheerleading.

New to the whole 'blog' thing!

Hey everyone! So this is the beginning of my family's blog! I apologize in advance because it's going to suck for a while until I get the hang of it!
